Hello, my name is Billy Chan.  I have been practicing for more than 2 years and recently graduated from the MFT program at SDSU.  I began my clinical training at the Center for Community Counseling and Engagement in City Heights.  During my time there,  I was fortunate enough to work with a number of great clients from diverse backgrounds focusing mostly on life transitions and identity building.

I am originally from Hong Kong, China and am fluent in Cantonese Chinese and English.  I also understand Mandarin Chinese.  I am very interested in helping clients with their identity, stress management, life transitions, and many things in between. Additionally, I’m interested in co-constructing with my clients towards possible paths that they prefer.  I mostly practice under a Narrative Therapy framework where we focus on helping clients find their preferred voice in their lives.  I look forward to speaking with you and seeing if we’re a good fit. If you have any questions or would like to contact me, you can leave a message at 858-429-9331 or visit the Request an Appointment page for more information.
