A note from Billy:

I am interested in working with individuals, couples, and families looking to make changes in their lives.  Currently, I work as a therapist at an HIV clinic, advocating and offering counseling to LGBT+ clients on the stresses of HIV/ STI infection and other cultural minority experiences.  My own identity as an Asian therapist has also led me to working with the Pan Asian community supporting issues of immigration, acculturation and identity-building in different contexts.

Throughout my work thus far, I have found a great level of interest in co-constructing helpful narratives with my clients which support their preferred identities.  I mostly operate under a Narrative Therapy framework, meaning I focus mostly on helping clients gain different perspectives and open possible avenues or narratives in their lives.  I look forward to learning more about you!
