A note from Adriana:

Hello! My name is Adriana Baeza, and I’m a bilingual (Spanish-English) MFT trainee who’s passionate about holding warm, creative, and affirming spaces for kids, families, and individuals. I began my journey in Mexico, where I earned my degree in Clinical Psychology, and later moved to San Diego to continue growing and offering therapy rooted in cultural awareness, social justice, and heart. Before training as an MFT, I worked as a case manager with children and families, where I quickly realized how deeply I wanted to continue supporting kids, mothers, and caregivers. Their stories, resilience, and love have shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be… one who meets people with honesty, kindness, and a deep sense of reciprocity for all they’ve taught me.
I draw from Narrative and Feminist Therapy, approaches that help us understand our stories, honor our identities, and gently challenge the systems that shape our lives. I’m trained in trauma-informed care and suicide prevention, and I’m committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally grounded support. In sessions, I love bringing in creativity such as art, colors, poetry or anything that helps you feel more connected to yourself.
And when I’m not in therapist mode, you’ll probably find me painting, coloring, singing along to Taylor Swift or ABBA, cuddling with my bunny, soaking up the sun, or noticing the tiny, beautiful things we often miss in our busy lives.
If you’re looking for a therapist (trainee) who will meet you with kindness, curiosity, and a little bit of color, I’d be honored to connect with you.
